Welcome to Washington College! Welcome to the place I called home!
Why Washington College?
I began my time as an undergraduate student at Washington College knowing exactly what I wanted (or so I thought!). Because of the liberal arts education, my eyes were quickly opened to a new world of academic possibilities.
I started Washington College knowing I wanted to go pre-law. I graduated Washington College as a double major in economics and business management, with a minor in ethnomusicology. With the support of my professors and advisors, I discovered so many others interests by expanding my horizon just a little bit! Inside the classroom, I took sailing (yes, that is a course here!), learned how to think like a CEO, and helped establish the Ethnomusicology minor. Outside the classroom, during my internship at The Walt Disney Company, I put my liberal arts education to the test: coupling my skills in communication, teamwork, and thinking outside the box. I took my liberal arts education even further - all the way to Europe where I spent four months immersed in the Irish culture at University College Cork.
I am elated to be back here sharing my enthusiasm for WC with prospective students every day. I found my purpose and my passion here and maybe you will, too! Washington College has a special place in my heart and I would love to show you why.
